Introduction to payroll integrations
We’ve made it easy for employers to submit payroll contributions
The employer portal seamlessly integrates with many leading payroll providers, including Gusto, Paylocity, Payroll Specialties, and Quickbooks Online. And don’t worry: If you don’t currently use an external payroll provider, or if they’re not interested in an integration, the process to manually upload payroll contributions is quick and simple.
What employers should know
Once you’ve registered your business, talk with your payroll provider to see if they can help you facilitate Colorado SecureSavings. If they can help, simply add your payroll representatives as a teammate in your Colorado SecureSavings account.
Giving your payroll provider teammate access through the employer portal can also allow them to manage your employee list and process payroll if they do not require an integration. If they have an integration in place, this access may still be needed to keep your employee list up to date.
You can add your payroll provider as a teammate and authorize them to take action on your behalf. Check out this helpful article on how to add a teammate.

We’ve made the process to facilitate Colorado SecureSavings easy and streamlined. Discuss the program with your client to make sure that they are in compliance with state-mandated deadlines.
Using the employer portal
Employers have the ability to grant other team members access to help with payroll or administration. If you are a payroll provider and would like to know what’s required to assist your client with preparing employee information to upload, review this template.
Payroll providers can also assist clients with sending contributions by uploading an employee payroll file with contribution information or entering the employee information directly in the portal. To ensure that you have all of the required employee information to upload, please use this template.
Integrations
Colorado SecureSavings works with different payroll providers to offer 360 integrations which help automate the payroll submission process. There is no charge from Colorado SecureSavings for a payroll integration nor is it mandatory to use an available integration.
